Post 13 : Alice

Down and down and deeper still
Till Rabbit quivered, stilled, then shook
Racing chasing
Through the doors
Grass then porcelain and bloodied floors
The guillotine of the Queen
Was the greatest red
That one could see
Yet not such greater than Alice’s heart
Which the Queen sought
To tore apart
Yet protected by the idiocy
Of the cards and of the King
That mercy should move
Their sillied souls
And let Alice leave
With all connected bones
Such a fury struck the Queen
That rage did overflow
Within her tea
And flamingos flew
To escape her wrath
As she tore through city paths
Chasing racing
Till Alice quivered, stilled, then shook
Up and up and higher still

Ok don’t judge but I think my stories from when I started this (In Frostbitten Plains and my cryptid one), might be trapped as works in progress haha. Life of a writer, right? (Write? haha) But! I’ve been doing some writing prompts and this week was Wonderland! It was a lot of fun, and the ending is up to your interpretation but I like to think that Alice got home safely! I like the rhythm of it at least. I hope you're all doing well, and happy Mardi Gras!
